SuperChrome® uses a patented additive that chemically binds the base coat, the middle silver chromium SuperChrome® coat and the SuperChrome® Clear coat to a single hard, durable chrome effect that can be safely coated with a high-quality clear. The final SuperChrome® Clear coat can be tinted to achieve a wide range of 20 candy chrome concentrates.

SuperChrome® is durable enough for exterior applications. The simple 4 step process can be performed in any standard commercial paint booth with conventional HVLP spay gun technology.
In addition, the application of a clear coat to other similar products can cause a reaction with the chromium layer that will result in as much as a 20% dye-back of the brilliance to the chrome layer. The results are a less desirable, duller finish.
The SuperChrome® process remains brilliant and shiny because the patented SuperChrome Clear coat that bonds the chrome into an inert single layer that keeps its original brilliance intact.
