WHAT IS SUPERCHROME
SuperChrome® is the future of spray chrome technology durable enough for exterior applications. The three step process can be performed in any standard commercial paint booth with conventional HVLP spray gun technology. SuperChrome® uses a patented additive that chemically binds the base coat, the middle silver chromium SuperChrome® coat and the SuperChrome Clear coat to a single hard, durable Chrome Effect – like finish that can be safely coated with a high-quality clear and NOT suffer any noticeable dye-back. The final SuperChrome Clear coat can be tinted to achieve a wide range of candy chrome coloured finishes.
WHAT IS HYDRA CHROME
The “Chrome plating system” process is a chemical silvering process. Different silver and reagent solutions are sprayed, using spray stations, to create a chrome effect as a fine layer of silver: an activator is sprayed over a glossy lacquer to create the necessary adherence for the silver molecule. Then you apply the silver and its reducer simultaneously to create the “silver mirror”, and a topcoat to protect the silver deposit
The “chroming system” uses the silvering technique and creates a chrome mirror effect of outstanding quality. It’s not an electrolytic or galvanic process that produces “hard chrome”
The “chrome plating system” can potentially be used on all materials and substrates, provided that they have been properly prepared and/or primed with a specific primer.
